Monoprinting Without a Press
Monoprints are one-of-a-kind pieces of art that can be matted and framed as standalone art or used as components in other mixed media pieces. Learn how to easily produce stunning prints by using paint and plastic wrap or with a gelli plate, which can open a new world of printmaking opportunities. Also included in Monoprinting without a Press: creating brushless paintings using plastic wrap, pallet knife, bubble wrap or textural papers, Gelli plate printing possibilities, and mark-making tools for added texture.

As part of the offerings for the Nancy Ori Workshops, we are happy to present a new mini series of mixed media workshops taught by this dynamic duo. These short sessions will be given by Nancy Ori and Heidi Sussman, experienced artists and instructors, who will show you the magic of mixing media to create unique new work with incredible diversity. Each workshop will include discussions and demonstrations packed with practical information encouraging you to go home with at least one finished piece. All the materials are included for a fun and relaxing hands-on experience. For all artist levels, no prior art experience is necessary. Info will be sent on what additional items you may want to bring, like photographs, collage items, etc.
While each workshop is self-contained and teaches a specific process, joining more than one helps to create an even more varied mixed media project. A 10% discount is available for registration into more than one. Contact Nancy to obtain the discount. They are offered in person at Nancy’s studio, or online with Zoom at the same date and time. Space is limited for the in-person sessions.
